Usage Reports
Generate and export detailed resource consumption reports across your infrastructure.
Overview
Usage Reports provide granular visibility into resource consumption across your Xelon HQ infrastructure. A usage report is generated automatically each month for your organization. On the Usage Reports page you open a report and review its costs broken down by tabs (All resources, Resources by device, Networks, and S3 Object Storage), then export the report to PDF or CSV. This helps you understand spending patterns, optimize resource allocation, and support chargeback workflows.
Viewing Usage Reports
Navigate to Usage Reports
Go to Billing & Reports > Usage Reports in the sidebar.
Select a report
The Usage Reports page displays a list of available reports. Click View or click the report row to open it. Reports that are still being generated show a loading indicator.
Browse report tabs
Each report contains four tabs for different resource categories:
| Tab | Includes |
|---|---|
| All resources | Aggregated usage across all resource types, broken down by tenant. |
| Resources by device | CPU, memory, and disk usage for all virtual machines. |
| Networks | Each network with its hourly usage cost, base fee, speed-upgrade cost, and subtotal in CHF. Does not report network bandwidth consumption or IP address allocations. |
| S3 Object Storage | S3-compatible object storage consumption. |
Viewing Reports
Generated reports are displayed in a table format with resource-level detail. Each report shows:
- Resource name and identifier
- Usage quantity (e.g., vCPU-hours, GB-months)
- Associated cost based on the active billing plan
- Organization and cloud location
Exporting Reports
Reports can be exported for offline analysis, accounting, or record-keeping. Two export formats are available:
- CSV: Click the CSV download button to export the report data as a CSV file, compatible with spreadsheet applications.
- PDF: Click the PDF download button to generate a formatted PDF document of the report.
Resource Usage by Organization Reseller
Reseller partners can view usage broken down by customer organization. This enables chargeback and cost allocation across your customer base.
The reseller resource-usage view opens aggregated across all organizations by default. To view a single customer organization, click its row (or the Manage button) in the organizations table to open that organization's report; use the Search organization box to find one by name. There is no Organization filter field to set or leave blank.
Resellers can compare usage across organizations to identify high-consumption tenants and plan capacity accordingly.
